Capistrano Coyotes Ice Hockey

Established in 2013, Capistrano Coyotes Ice Hockey allows student-athletes from the Capistrano Unified School District High Schools to compete with the top teams in the ADHSHL and around the USA in league play and local tournaments.  The Coyotes pride themselves on player development as well as ensuring we send the best student-athletes forward to become even better members of our community.

The Capistrano Coyotes are led by Coaching Director and Head Varsity Coach Jean Labbe. Its Varsity Division 1 and Division 3 teams, as well as Junior Varsity compete in the Anaheim Ducks High School Hockey League and California Amateur Hockey Association, as well as local tournaments and showcase events.

The new $110 million Great Park Ice and FivePoint Arena in Irvine, CA is the home practice facility of the Capistrano Coyotes that offers the best in ice hockey accommodations, facilities and opportunities for our student-athletes.

Achievements

The Capistrano Coyotes just finished their first USA Hockey National Championship run with an overtime loss in the Championship game.  The Coyotes are ready to make a return to the USA Hockey National Championships in the very near future!
